The Secret

Okay, sorry to keep you guessing all day about "the secret", but I have been gone all day. No, I'm NOT pregnant! I know you all were thinking that was the secret.

The secret is that my husband received the Professional Excellence Award at the Commencement ceremony today! It was a secret, because it was supposed to be a surprise. It turned out to be a great surprise (I'm so proud of myself for keeping it). He had no idea that he was going to be honored or that I was there to see it! They bestow this award on a faculty member once a year for their professional achievements. He received a beautiful plaque and a medal that he will wear each year with his robe at Graduation. I am SO PROUD!

Add this to his other achievements this year...being promoted to Associate Professor and his art work being recognized by Christianity Today...I would say he's had a good year.
