Father's Day was a big hit at our house.
After church and Sunday brunch at one of our favorite local spots, we came home to bestow gifts upon Daddy. After gifts Rich helped Richie (I mean Richie helped Rich) build a sandbox. I was amazed that out of all the things Rich could have been doing yesterday afternoon (I gave him many an option) he wanted to stay home and build a sandbox for the boys.
You can read here about my idea of a great Mother's Day and it doesn't involve staying home, making anything, or being with the kids. I comfort myself with the thought that I get to stay home, make things (like breakfast, lunch, and dinner), and be with the kids all the time...for Rich these things are a novelty, right?
Anyway, I took some cute pictures of the project for your viewing pleasure. By the way, the funds for the sandbox were provided Mamaw and Papaw in honor of the boy's 3rd and 6th birthdays.
