Prayer for a Friend

I'd like to ask you guys to pray for a friend of mine from college. She and her husband have been trying to have their second child for 18 months now and have been unsuccessful. She found out yesterday that her insurance will not pay for fertility treatments. Understandably she is very disheartened. Please pray for peace, wisdom, and funds for the treatments. Please also pray for her heart as she tries to understand God's will for their future.

If anyone of you have prayers, advice, or encouragement for her, please leave a comment (she reads this blog). Or if you would like to send her a personal message, email it to me and I will pass it on to her!

Thank you so much, my faithful, prayerful, friends!

I pray for those things you just mentioned Alana. I pray that God cover them with such peace. I ask God to give them clear direction and take them one step at a time. I pray that another door open when this one has shut. I pray that their faith be strengthed during this time and their love for their Savior is deeper than ever.

You are a dear friend Alana.
Hugs~

Just prayed for them... I have been where they are, and it is a very difficult place. But I know God who is the Peace Speaker.

I will get some information from my friend who has been battling infertility for about 10 years. She has recently found a doctor/clinic who has been very helpful and takes a very natural approach. She is extremely positive about this (and she's tried almost everything). In the meantime, I am praying for peace and understanding beyond human hearts. "For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord. Plans to prosper you and not harm you. Plans to give you a hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11

I will absolutly be praying! I have a friend that has spent the last two years in the adoption process. (She was advised by docs. not to have any more children, because of a medical condition.) She already had a beautiful little girl, and she just brought home her son from Guatemala, and found out she is pregnant! I share all this to say, that we don't always understand the Lord's plans our His timing, but His blessings are abundant if we will only wait on Him and trust! BTW- Thank you for your prayers for my little one!

I will be praying for them. My sister went through this and I know it's not easy.

I have so many friends who have been in the same boat. I have one friend who spent over $90,000 at Vanderbilt trying to have her first child (he is 2 yrs old now). I will definitely pray for you friend. It is so hard to understand why God sometimes tarries on granting us our desires. I pray He will give them and answer very soon.
