I'm Alana, a in Branson, Missouri specializing in trauma. I consider it an honor to be able to walk alongside individuals in the counseling process who are hurting, struggling, or simply wanting to make improvements in their lives. Sometimes a part of that process includes seeking help from others who can walk alongside us and aid the process. Asking for help can be difficult, but I see it as a sign of great strength!
Our boys are only a couple of weeks apart in age. Lake turned 7 on June 21st.......time flies.....I wish I could make it stand still for a little while.....seems like just yesterday I was bringing him home from the hospital and now here we are 7 yrs later and he is sooooo big. UGH!!!
Oh my goodness thats just too much Alana!!! In the blink of an eye it just changes so quickly. Makes me want to go back in time and just hold them at each age.
Enjoy these days. Hugs and blessings and Happy Birthday!
PRECIOUS PICS. Seven today and seventeen tomorrow. My son turned 17 last week. For the first time in 27 years, I don't have to drive any child anywhere anymore. It's strange not being needed in that way! But it's what we raise them for---to be independent of us. To live their life before God and find the God of Jacob! And Richie will! He'll never get away from your prayers! Happy Birthday and my prayer for him tonight is Deut 32:47 that God's Word would not be idle words for him but his very life!
Wow...what a tender moment...thanks for sharing...hope you made it through the day with few tears :) I don't know WHY I cry on my children's birthdays but it never fails...I do.
