...and I might lose a few of you with this little revelation, but Rich and I were/are big fans of The X-files and can't wait to see the new movie on July 25th!
And yes, I do feel better now that "the truth is out (there)".
Tee hee.
Cue the music, please...
Doo doo doo doo doo doo.

Nope...you're not losing me...I'm with ya! :) Not so sure about my hubby though...
I never got into that show, but I have plenty of dirty secrets of my own... like Alias!
I watched it regularly...every Friday night, when it was in it's prime. I have the first season on DVD, but I haven't started it yet.
I waited in line for hours for the midnight releases of the Star Wars and Harry Potter Movies, nerdiness doesn't scare me.
Not a sci fi fan. But I won't judge. Have fun!
You're worried about losing a Trekkie? Fear not, my friend!
I only watched The X-Files a few times (the ex didn't like it, so we didn't watch it). The one episode that stands out in my memory is the one of the inbred family that kept the mother locked in a room when they weren't using her to uh... procreate. Yuck!!!
I still love you. I am married to a sci-fi guy, so I've learned to appreciate it.
Would you hate me if I said I have never seen an episode of the X files? I haven't but I've heard people talking about it. I'm not sure what the show is about.
Twin Peaks (being from the Northwest) and Alias were my guilty pleasures, although, I did see some episodes of the X-files as my dad is a sci-fi nut. Enjoy the movie! And in response to your post on my blog, yes, I loved The Other Boleyn Girl (the novel, have not seen the movie yet).
Never have been a fan of sci-fi, but I do not judge you.
never seen the x-files. but i hope you love every minute of the movie. and let's face it...david duchovny (or however you spell his name) is EASY ON THE EYES! : )
still like ya! don't like sci-fi.
and what a darling photo of you and your boy (previous post). i hope it is framed, and out for all to see, it is so precious.
I never watched the TV series but I did see the last movie & liked it. No judgment here....
LOVE Scully & Mulder! We'll be seeing it when it comes out.
I was shocked when Alana revealed that she actually didn't mind watching the X-Files. She HATES Sci-Fi! I think what hooked her was the chemistry between Mulder and Scully. She looks at it as a love story with a few freaks and aliens thrown in to add drama.
I may not understand your love for the X-files, but I always love you!
Oh, and...out (there)...Funny.
I am still willing to be your bloggy friend even though you happen to like one of the weirdest shows of all time.
I do have a few guilty pleasure shows myself that I may have to reveal one day as well. :-)
okay. yeah, me too. but have you recently watched one of the old episodes? its so dated and kinda stupid. i can't believe i loved it sooo much then. i'll still see the movie, though! =)
not a fan of the show but sure am a fan of yours!
btw- you won on my birthday giveaway, so when you get a chance email me your address so i can send you your prize.
I was never a religious fan of the show, but I always enjoyed watching it when I happened to flip through and find it. My husband and I both love Sci-fi...so while we're fessing up to things, I have been known to watch a fair amount of Star Trek, Stargate SG-1, Stargate Atlantis, Eureka, Battlestar Galactica and of course Star Wars.

When I was teaching preschool, I would often stay up LATE trying to do lesson plans and would usually end up watching way too many X Files reruns on TNT. I, too, am excited for the movie. "I want to belive" that it will be really good.
