Thirsty

O God, you are my God,
earnestly I seek you;
my soul thirsts for you,
my body longs for you,
in a dry and weary land
where there is no water.

I have seen you in the sanctuary
and beheld your power and your glory.

Because your love is better than life,
my lips will glorify you.

I will praise you as long as I live,
and in your name I will lift up my hands.

Psalm 63:1-4

I went to your 100 things about me post so that I could find out a little more about you. We have a few similarities! Where did you grow up? What town I mean. We are Purdue fans in this house, only because Eric went there and so did some of our money and my sister works there. I was saved and baptized in 1987, close to when you were AND I am also 32!
BTW, I like your post today. Who can argue with God's Word?
Oh and I don't like mean people either!

I can't really quote from the Bible, or even recognize some its material, this included. For a second I thought you were an amazing inspirational writer!

Don't you just love this book of the Bible?! My friend and I agree that when we don't know where to turn in the Word for our quiet time, that reading a Psalm is always a good place to start.

Thanks for the beautiful words to start my day!
