Alana Is...

Alana is thinking in Facebook update form a little too much these days.

is sad that William no longer seems to need his blankie.

Alana would REALLY like to eat some baked goods. Any old baked good would do.

Alana kind of rushed through bedtime because she had the idea for this post.

Alana thinks someday she will really regret rushing through bedtime.

Alana wishes she was as fun and crafty as Tara and Sarah.

Alana 's kids probably wish that, too.

Alana is chuckling because Tara and Sarah rhyme.

Alana is excited to go to the Pumpkin Patch tomorrow!

Alana thinks this book is by far the best and most helpful book on marriage that she has ever had the privilege of reading.

Alana is thinking about attempting to run a 5K sometime in the near future.

Alana's version of running is more like a jog.

Alana can't believe she is using the words running and Alana in the same sentence. Or jogging as the case may be.

Alana remembered she could play the piano today.

Alana 's version of "playing the piano" is similar to her version of "running".

Alana wishes she could have just printed that STINKING coupon today, but things like that are never so simple.

Alana thinks she could go on like this for quite some time, but she doesn't want to bore you anymore than she already has!

Alana is over and out.

That is a great post! Made me smile! Oh and I totally understand the "who's life is this anyway" feeling that you talked about in your prior post! It's a wacky ride for sure!

Alana is a true, real-life friend that I am so excited to see at the pumpkin patch tomorrow!

Alana is skinny and smokin' hot.

Alana is too modest to tell you that.

Alana is never boring and always relevant.

Alana is loved by many and adored by most.

I hate it when the blankie goes, too. :( Whenever it starts, John and I always rush to say, "are you sure? I don't know... maybe not tonight..." and we manage like that for a little while longer, usually...
but all sweet baby things must come to an end. boo-hoo.

I loved this post - so funny and clever.

I am too jealous of Tara and Sarah's craftiness... I need to be more crafty with my kids they always like it when we do that type of thing.

Oh you're so clever!!!

My favorite is:
Alana 's version of "playing the piano" is similar to her version of "running".

You may ask why?! THAT DESCRIBES ME TO THE "T"!

And thanks so much for the book idea...I'm definitely going to check it out!!

Love ya girlie!

Laney... you make me smile!!! Tony and I lead a couple's Bible Study and that is the first book we all read together. It is SO powerful and I've seen it's principles work! Also, I am so proud of you for running... and I KNOW you can do a 5K. I've "run" 3 in my life. They are hard for us non-skilled runners, but what a sense of accomplishment you feel when you cross the finish line. I can't wait for pictures!! Go YOU!!!

Alana is one busy lady! :)

I loved "Love and Respect," too. Amazing how you can get an entire book out of one little verse, huh? God's Word is so simple, yet soooo deep.

so we were sitting at the dinner table yesterday, and i was thinking about my f.b. profile update.
"Denise is not homecoming queen, again"
i told my husband, i had com eup with an update for after the game, and he laughed, then said it is funny that
this is what i am thinking about.

right now my profile update mind is thinking "Denise is not as witty as Alana"

Awesome post! We share the same version of piano playing. I saw our keyboard the other day and thought, huh, I knew how to play that once...

Very creative.
