A New Flip Flop Revolution?

Updated Below...

Have you guys seen these?

I must say I'm intrigued. Anyone tried them?

I venture to say we'd all wear them morning, noon, and night if they made our legs look like that!

Can I get an amen?

Of course, in my case that would mean my legs would have to grow about a foot and defy the laws of nature, but it's possible, right???

Yeah. This could be why I'm not allowed to watch infomercials.

What do you think B-town girls, should we raise next year's flip flop exchange limit to $50?

Edited to Add: Here's the official FitFlop website. And a review I found as well.

I'd sleep in them, too. LOL!

I think they're kinda cute.

i'm in for $50! i'm just wondering if once i got them and i wore them the first time how many days it would take my legs to recover and be able to wear them again!?!? but, no pain, no gain i guess!

Sorry to disagree with Carissa & Short...but they're not my THANG. Afraid they'd be sent to the attic, and I'm trying my darndest not to do that anymore ;-)

Would you have to be naked like the model to wear them? If so, I think I might have to pass. LOL!

Very interesting! You try them & let us know! I do love flip flops!

WOW! Wish it was that easy to get great legs like the model!! :) Hey, I'd try it... I'd try almost anything!!!

Well, they are absolutely adorable but I'm not sure they will make my legs look leaner and meaner than they really are! :(

I love these shoes! And I bet I could talk my man into the 50 bucks if I just simply mention they are from victoria secret! It's about all I'd fit into in that store!

Ahh flipflops...makes me long for summer!

Those are ridiculous!

Just go to your closest walmart or target and grab a pair or wedge flip flops or any shoe with a heel and voila same concept, just not the sneeky sly marketeing scheme.

Those marketing reps at VS sure are smart though for the try.

Couldn't they have at least made them cute?

Hmmm, I'd vote YES on the $50 thing. As long as those shoes come with a guarantee that I'll get those legs!

That is quite interesting. Not sure if these would be worth the moolah or not, but better looking legs? I can use that and a good thigh-master! By the Way - I saw on your friend's blog that you guys are "nertz" players. I have to say - I grew up on this game and it is an all time favorite of my family! So fun!

P.S. Come over to my site today and get in on my giveaway. Free stuff! Free stuff!

I think that's what you'd call "deception"...:) And, the funny thing is that model is probably laughing, because SHE KNOWS that it wasn't the flip-flops that gave her legs like those! It's just pure, hard, sweaty work. :) Sorry to burst anyone's bubble.
They ARE pretty funky looking, though. I bet they're super comfy, too.

I'm with Shelley. More about the legs, less about the flip flops. Will I ever have perfectly tan, slim, and shaped legs.

Me thinks not.

Oh, that is totally ME in that picture. That's what I looked like after just putting the things on. Talk about miracle flip-flops. Heh!

Yikes...I would break my neck. They aren't as cute as the ones I bought you, anyway.

I just spent some time on your friend, Kara's blog after she said those magic words..."giveaway." What a fun gal!

After some of their window displays and commercials that I think are next to pornographic, I try not to buy any VS products.

I gotta say, they would have to be miracle flip-flops for anyone to confuse my 5' 2" self as a tall person. By the way, that flip flop exchange party looked like a blast!

Okay, I want some of those! I wish they were cheaper...dern.

Yeah. This could be why I'm not allowed to watch infomercials.

*laughs* me too!!!

I cannot wear flip flops but I like the idea..if they really gave me legs like that...hmmm

After reading the review, I have come to the conclusion that Fitflops are probably another gimmick to get us 'chunky' girls to fork over our hard-earned cash (well, my hubs hard -earned cash). If confronted with Fitflops, I am sure I will purchase them, though, because at this point I am pretty much willing to go to any lengths to make my cellulite ridden, short, fat legs look better.
And as far as infomercials....I can tell you about most any beauty product, weight loss product, etc that has ever been "AS SEEN ON TV"......sad, I know.

Oh yeah, can I do your flip flop swap too? I love them. I got 18 pairs of flip flops year before last and last year I got 12. We should do a bloggy flip flop swap!!!! You organize it and I will participate! No, really...we should do that!

I guess I am a skeptic. It would be nice if shoes could make us look like that though!

BethAnne said...

Hey! I emailed you yesterday - not sure if it went through okay - got an error message everytime I sent it. Let me know if you received it and what we can do to start the "Great Bloggy Flip Flop Swap" hahhaha

I have been reading your blog off and on and decided to come out of hiding. I enjoy reading your posts- you have a great sense of humor. We seem to visit quite a few of the same blogs.

If those flip flops gave me legs like that I would be in :o)

The flip flop party looks like so much fun. I love flip flops and can't wait until it gets warm enough to start wearing them without freezing my toes.

I think the shoes are cute in a sporty way. I would buy them if they were cheaper. I don't spend fifty dollars on many things, except maybe food. That is why I want the fitflops. I want to be included on the flipflop exchange next time.

I really felt strongly about that comment, so I left it twice. Just kidding I messed up.

Hmmm... I have a hard time finding sandals that don't make my feet look HUGE (8.5)... but might have to give these a try. My guess is if I wait a couple of months I'll be able to find some knock-offs in the same concept... hmmmmmmmm... No, wait... I think I hear Ebay calling my name.... Yes? What's that? Just a minute.....

Hmmmm...not thinking I love the way they look, but if they do what they claim to do....

I don't buy VS products, but I'd get them from elsewhere assuming they are made by VS.

I like flip flops that flop so I couldn't get "into" it. I could NEVER wear flip flops until I hit 50---what's up with that? Maybe I don't feel things like I used to ---LOL...I am in wrong generation to think these are cute, but the major thing for me is it has to flop then tone!

Okay, that review says they work....

Did you get some? I'd love to hear your thoughts!

And how does the Flip Flop exchange work? I went to that link but only saw photos----that looked fun!
