I wanted to share some pictures from our visit with my niece, Lucy. We had a wonderful time and having her here was such a great excuse to do lots of fun touristy things we don't always do here in B-town. She is a beautiful, smart, clever, talented, and fun girl!
Here we are taking a self portrait after she was accosted by the lady at one of the make-up counters in Macy's. That's a story in and of itself. It was one of those experiences where I half expected Allen Funt to jump out from behind the counter and say, "Smile! You're on candid camera."
Here's a group self portrait...turned out pretty good, huh? Good thing my husband has long arms!
Here's one of Lucy with the boys. My boys adore her. ADORE her. She (many times daily) had to endure what we now affectionately call "hug attacks" from Richie. Those of you who know Richie in real life know exactly what I mean!
And lastly, I'll leave you with one of my favorites...Lucy with her pet bee. Bzzzzz!

Hi, thanks for visiting! I love this post, my niece was here for a week this summer with her 20 month old and it was an awesome week. My kids also adore her. I miss her too.

I love it when other family members visit me. I have a cousin who just turned 18 in July, and it is so fun when she comes up to visit. I think she keeps me young!!

How fun to have your niece come to visit! It made me miss mine so much - when they do come around my kids are all over them as well. It is so sweet to see those cousin relationships!
