I'm Alana, a in Branson, Missouri specializing in trauma. I consider it an honor to be able to walk alongside individuals in the counseling process who are hurting, struggling, or simply wanting to make improvements in their lives. Sometimes a part of that process includes seeking help from others who can walk alongside us and aid the process. Asking for help can be difficult, but I see it as a sign of great strength!
YEAH! They made it through another first day! I have to tell you, I am SO excited that they are in class together! I feel like it's such a blessing. I really do. See you tomorrow!
Why, why do they have to grow tall and start to look like little boys? Where is that baby chub? Where is that toddlery face? Sigh...just goes by toooooo fast.
I wish I could keep my kids little forever and ever!!! I cant believe I have a 2nd grader!!!! He should be sitting in his exer- saucer wowing us with his vast knowledge of animal sounds NOT going to second grade!!!! UGH!!!
oh boy do i remember that day. 1st grade=being in school all day!! my your sweet boys are handsome and look very very happy! congrats on a great first day back to school.
Wonderful memories caught on film. He does look tall!! This time of year always gets me all choked up. It's wonderful and sad to watch them grow up. Keilani starts the 4th grade on Monday and I just can't believe it. Where did k-3 go?????
Alana: This is off-topic, but I wanted to personally invite you to join in for "I See What You're Saying," a video meet and greet, on Sept. 30. Tomorrow I'm posting on how to upload videos, if that helps. Hope you can participate!
Hey, I just found your comment on my "neighbor" story... don't know how I missed it! Anyway, I hope things are going better with "B." We haven't heard a peep out of our neighbors since the police got involved. You just gotta wonder where all that anger stems from, huh? It's just sad!! What would Anne Shirley do in these situations??
Hey there Alana! I have been missing bloggyville!! I hope you are well! Anyway, your big boy IS getting so big! My first grader has grown so much. Last year he wore 4T this year he actually can wear 5/6! He's gonna catch up yet!
I remember your first day of kindergarten post from a year ago and WOW your little (big) guy looks SO much older just 365 days later. Glad it was a good day.

I think the tallness in the one picture is from the angle. Yes. Surely. That's my story and I'm stickin' to it!
And how is the mommy of that big, tall 1st grader doing after this momentous occasion?
my youngest begins 1st grade... it goes to fast.
