Unfortunately, this new eloquent version is not be me. It's by my husband.
Not only can he write, he creates beautiful art, designs incredibly amazing logos, and is a serious smarty pants (he did get a perfect score).
He's just too talented and smart for his own good, but don't tell him I said so. I wouldn't want him getting a big head or anything.

Geez Alana! I was so enthralled by your husbands description of snow day that I had to make myself stop reading it because I really really really need to go to the bathroom and then make breakfast! I am going to come back when I can read uninterrupted the whole entire thing. Would you be okay if I visit your husband's blog often? And by the way - I love your version of snow day. God made us all different for a reason!
I love both Snow Day versions. Those pictures are priceless (and that is one marvelous snowman!) I had to laugh at Rich describing the pain when snow touches his hands.....you can take the boy out of FL but you can't take the FL out of the boy! He described that grand moment so well--we've been having lots of those here too. Where did the baby go, and who is this big girl who can help pull the sled up the hill??? Snow days are wonderful. It's been a long time since riding the cafeteria trays down Seeger Hill!
You are one blessed woman...but I know you already knew that!
How fun & you both wrote about it great! Loved all the pictures too!
Ah... Seeger Hill and Cafeteria trays... What a memory!! Thanks D.
I love that you BOTH are so talented in all the arts!! :) God sure does know what he's doing, doesn't he!! :)
TT
I love that you had a snow day together, and I love how you both wrote about it. I love the way you talk about your hubby...
Yay for snow days, hot chocolate, popcorn for lunch, and husbands!!
Three cheers for RICHARD!!
Great post, I like both!
I say this tongue-in-cheek.....
Maybe that's why he's the professor and we are the stay at home moms! :)
I'd blog amazingly more eloquent if I weren't reading Goodnight Moon, watching the Wiggles, writing grocery lists and all the zillion things I do in a day! When I finally get a chance to Blog, I've only got a quarter brain left! :)
I loved both versions of snow day! Appropriately written by both realms of parenthood!
your husband is very witty.
come see my 100th post!
and it looks as if i am the only one who would sit and stare, if i had 2 hours to myself.
Did you get my comment to your husband about his riveting rhetoric. I don't see it. Your comment on my post so reminds me of Jim Elliot's quote "Live to the hilt every situation you know to be the will of God." You are an unbelievably good gifted writer. Very good! And I love it that you linger where you are touched. I think your thoughts run pretty deep.
LOVE your favorite movies on your profile. What good taste you have! :)
