I find myself using that word in a sentence like, "I just hate the way that dessert turned out." And my sweet Molly will say, "Mommmmmm - you just said 'hate'. That word is inapproperiate." Makes me smile every time.Sparkyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11569837728655942189noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7379952519282950853.post-38391209773774362302007-07-11T14:24:00.000-05:002007-07-11T14:24:00.000-05:00I remember when I was teaching first grade and the...I remember when I was teaching first grade and the first student came to me to say his friend was saying the "F" word. I of course jumped to a logical conclusion. I went to the friend and started the talk about words we say at school and words we don't and asked him to whisper what he said to his friend in my ear.... the "f" word was "fart"<BR/><BR/>I was so glad that I asked him what he said instead of assuming it was the other "f" word!! :)Teresahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00424491171871213073noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7379952519282950853.post-83128088210253939382007-07-11T10:00:00.000-05:002007-07-11T10:00:00.000-05:00I really don't like that word, either. We told Ellie that for every time she said it she has to pay us a quarter. In one hour she lost 6 quarters! I'm not sure what we'll do when she's out of money!Shelleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06782544327127527816noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7379952519282950853.post-45510047147770720542007-07-11T07:42:00.000-05:002007-07-11T07:42:00.000-05:00Very funny! Or that they hear on Disney movies. Oops.Janellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08641361088547821873noreply@blogger.com
